Introduction

The area around your home is called your community. All the houses and stores, and the people who work and live there, make up your community.

Communities are like a jigsaw puzzle, since they are made up of different pieces that fit together to form a whole.

As you go through this gallery, you can see pieces being added to a jigsaw puzzle to form a final picture. But first, take a look at the start of the puzzle!


Some people live on farms.
