| People in Ocean Falls didn't have a great need for cars, since the town had its own railroad, as well as a few trucks. Horses were also used for pulling the garbage wagon, and for delivering groceries and pulling the snow plow in winter. The last horse in Ocean Falls, named Kate, turned out to be a very uncooperative animal who was always trying to run away. |
