The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the British Columbia Archives is held each year during the month of October.
Members will receive a quarterly newsletter featuring articles about the British Columbia Archives, its holdings, hints for researchers, and planned activities at the Archives
Lectures and workshops are offered throughout the year to members and the general public on topics connected with the Archives and its operations, and the history of the province.

Membership in the Friends of the British Columbia Archives is open to everyone and covers the year from September to August.
To join, go to the on-line form, print it, and then fill in the relevant information. The completed form, with membership fee (cheque only - please do not send cash) should be mailed to the contacts address listed below.
Please note that this form cannot be filled out electronically, it must be printed, completed, and mailed conventionally.
All donations beyond the basic membership rates are tax deductible. The Friends of the British Columbia Archives is a registered charity. Donations may be sent to the contacts address listed below. Tax receipts for donations will be issued and sent to donors.
Terry Reksten Memorial Fund. Donations to the Terry Reksten Memorial Fund can be made by cheque made payable to the "Friends of the British Columbia Archives" with a clearly marked note that this donation is for the "Terry Reksten Memorial Fund". A tax receipt will be sent to all donors.
Volunteering at the Archives is a wonderful opportunity to work with historical records and get a peek at some of the behind-the-scenes activities at the Archives, and a great way to help maintain and develop the province's heritage. There are always opportunities at the Archives for new volunteers who can contribute a regular amount of time each week.
